The 5th Annual Women in Athlete Development Symposium & Networking Event on April 12-13, 2023 was a huge success! Just over 100 attendees, including athlete development professionals, recent graduate students, and others seeking to enter and advance in the growing field of athlete development participated in a specially designed intimate networking and powerful, educational, and engaging sessions led by nationally recognized industry leaders. Priceless networking Sessions

The networking sessions remain the highlight of the symposium and serve as the catalyst for helping women identify and engage women sports leaders who can help them achieve their desired career in athlete development. Since the event’s inception in 2019, over 250 women seeking to enter and advance in the sports industry have gained valuable knowledge, insight, advice, and mentorship from these nationally respected women who lead the networking sessions. Currently, forty-five percent of symposium attendees have utilized this knowledge and network to achieve their desired position educating, transitioning, and developing athletes. This year’s symposium features multiple opportunities for attendees to develop and expand their network throughout the two-day virtual experience.
